EasyPro SRC Compressor Rebuild Kits
Rebuild Kits for EasyPro Stratus SRC Compressors
EasyPro SRC Compressor Rebuild Kits contain essential wearable internal components for maintaining your Stratus SRC rocking piston compressor. Like tires on your car, these parts need to be replaced over time to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your lake or pond aeration system.
What's Included
- Piston Cup: Critical component for maintaining compression and airflow
- Cylinder: Replacement cylinder for worn units
- O-Rings: Ensures proper sealing and prevents air leaks
- Cup Retainer Screws: Secure mounting hardware for piston cup assembly
Important Note
Leaf valves are no longer included in these rebuild kits. The complete leaf valve plate is available separately as SRC25VP. Individual leaf valve replacement is very difficult because the screws holding leaf valves are susceptible to breaking, so we recommend replacing the entire valve plate assembly when needed.
Available Rebuild Kits
SRC25K (SKU: SRC25K): Rebuild kit for Stratus SRC25 and SRC252 compressor models. Provides all essential wearable components to restore your 1/4 HP compressor to like-new performance.
SRC50K (SKU: SRC50K): Rebuild kit for Stratus SRC50 and SRC502 compressor models. Contains the complete set of wearable parts required to rebuild your 1/2 HP compressor.
SRC75K (SKU: SRC75K): Rebuild kit for Stratus SRC75 compressor model. Includes all necessary wearable components to restore your 3/4 HP compressor to optimal operating condition.
FAQ
Q: How do I know which rebuild kit I need?
A: Match the kit to your compressor model. SRC25K is for SRC25/252 models, SRC50K is for SRC50/502 models, and SRC75K is for SRC75 models. Check the label on your compressor for the model number.
Q: Are leaf valves included in these kits?
A: No, leaf valves are no longer included. If you need to replace leaf valves, order the complete valve plate assembly (SRC25VP) separately, as individual leaf valve replacement is very difficult.
Q: How often should I rebuild my compressor?
A: Rebuild frequency depends on usage, but typically every 2-3 years of continuous operation. Signs that rebuilding is needed include decreased air output, unusual noise, or excessive vibration.
Q: Can I install this kit myself?
A: Yes, with basic mechanical skills and tools, you can rebuild your SRC compressor. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. If you're not comfortable with the process, consult a qualified technician.
Q: Will this kit work on older SRC compressors?
A: These kits are designed for Stratus SRC Gen 2 compressors. Verify your compressor generation before ordering to ensure compatibility.
Q: How long does a rebuild take?
A: For someone with mechanical experience, a rebuild typically takes 1-2 hours. Allow more time if this is your first rebuild or if you're unfamiliar with the compressor.
