Powerful Rocking Piston Technology
PondScape compressors use a rocking piston design engineered for continuous, dependable air delivery in pond and lake aeration applications. Rocking piston compressors are an excellent choice for bottom-diffused aeration systems where strong airflow and reliable operation are required.
A properly designed bottom-diffused aeration system moves compressed air through submerged diffusers, creating rising columns of bubbles that circulate water from the bottom toward the surface. This circulation helps reduce stagnant areas, improve oxygen distribution, and support better overall water quality and a healthier aquatic environment.
PondScape compressors are available with airflow capacities from 30 to 160 liters per minute, allowing you to select the appropriate compressor for your system and number of diffusers.
Oil-Free, Low-Maintenance Design
The oil-free rocking piston design eliminates the need for routine oil changes while providing clean, dependable air delivery. Each 110V compressor features a high-quality capacitor and an integrated air filter/silencer for reliable operation.
Suction-cup feet help isolate vibration and reduce operating noise. The feet are also threaded, allowing the compressor to be securely mounted inside a compatible aeration cabinet.
Rebuildable for Long-Term Service
Unlike equipment that must be replaced when internal wear components reach the end of their service life, these PondScape rocking piston compressors are rebuildable.
Replacement rebuild kits are available, allowing common wear components to be serviced rather than replacing the entire compressor. The rebuild process is straightforward and can be completed with basic mechanical skills and common hand tools, helping extend the useful life of your aeration compressor.
