Available Sizes
HSC22 - 9.5" x 16" x 27" (SKU: HSC22): Compact Res-Cube providing 2.4 cubic feet of water storage space. Perfect for smaller pondless waterfall installations, residential wetland filters, or as building blocks for larger systems. The smaller footprint makes it ideal for tight spaces or areas with limited excavation depth. Excellent choice for residential water feature projects.
HSC44 - 17.5" x 16" x 27" (SKU: HSC44): Large Res-Cube providing 4.4 cubic feet of water storage space. Nearly double the capacity of the HSC22, making it ideal for larger pondless waterfalls, extensive wetland filtration systems, or commercial stormwater management applications. Best choice for maximizing storage capacity while minimizing the number of individual cubes needed.
How They Work
Res-Cubes are placed underground in excavated basins to create water storage reservoirs. The open cube structure allows water to fill the interior space while maintaining structural strength to support loads above. Multiple cubes can be stacked vertically or connected horizontally using connection clips (sold separately) to create custom-sized reservoirs. Water is stored within and around the cubes, then pumped back to waterfalls or other features.

FAQ
Q: Which size should I choose?
A: Choose HSC22 (2.4 cu ft) for smaller installations or tight spaces, or HSC44 (4.4 cu ft) for larger systems or to maximize storage with fewer cubes. Consider your total water volume needs and excavation constraints.
Q: How many cubes do I need?
A: Calculate your required water storage volume, then divide by the cube capacity (2.4 cu ft for HSC22 or 4.4 cu ft for HSC44). Add 10-20% for safety margin. Consult with a professional for precise sizing.
Q: Can I stack these cubes?
A: Yes, Res-Cubes can be stacked vertically and connected horizontally using connection clips (sold separately) to create multi-level storage systems.
Q: Do these come assembled?
A: No, Res-Cubes ship unassembled to save shipping space and costs. Assembly on-site is quick and easy with basic tools.
Q: Can I drive over these?
A: Yes, when properly installed with adequate cover material, Res-Cubes can support heavy loads including vehicles, making them suitable for installation under driveways, roadways, and pathways.
Q: What accessories do I need?
A: You'll need connection clips (HSCCLIP) to connect multiple cubes together. You may also need geotextile fabric to wrap the cubes and prevent soil intrusion.
Q: How do I clean these?
A: The open structure allows easy access for cleaning. Simply pump out the water and rinse the cubes with a hose. Much easier than cleaning gravel-filled basins.
Q: Can I expand my system later?
A: Absolutely! The modular design allows you to add more cubes as needed. Simply excavate additional space and connect new cubes to your existing system.
Q: What's the advantage over gravel?
A: Res-Cubes provide more water storage in less space (90-95% void space vs. 30-40% for gravel), are easier to clean, lighter to handle, and provide structural support for loads above.
